The night began with a Welcome to Country by the Aboriginal leader, William Nicholson. Precolonial times depicted through Igorot Dance, performed by Silangan Dancers Folksong Medley by the Jubiliee Choir wowed the audience as they sing along to the tune of “Bahay Kubo” Spanish influence depicted through the LITTLE Pipiles Dancers. A family of singers, Aurora Bosmans, Isabel Poliquit and Irene Bosmans American loving Pinoy, stand up comedy act by Norminda Villanueva RNK Hip Hop Group Nina Estaris singing “Bayan Ko” Nina Estaris singing “Bayan Ko”with the soldiers in the Guns N Roses to depict peoples power. The Backyard Boyz with their OPM Medley Dandenong Mayor Youhorn Chea with Rose Simonsen,Vicki Abarquez and Gloria Siebel during the interval. Albert Abarquez, MC and VMC Commissioner Samar Mougharbel awarding the certificates to all the cast. Awarding of certificates with Apex Institute Executive Director Rohan Weeraratne and sponsor of the Fiesta with VMC Commissioner Samar Mougharbel. Jubilee Choir and Band with their final song “Pinoy Ako” (I am a Filipino). The show was directed by Carmelina Di Guglielmo. This event was funded by VMC, Department of Health and Ageing, City of Greater Dandenong, PRT Corporation and APEX Institute.
