CPCA EVENT--   FILIPINO ARTS FIESTA HIGHLIGHTS

The Filipino Arts Fiesta held at the Drum Theatre Dandenong on Feb 17 highlighted Filipinos local talents and their insights into foreign colonisation of the Philippines.    The night began with a Welcome to Country by the Aboriginal leader, William Nicholson.

Precolonial times  depicted through Igorot Dance, performed by Silangan Dancers

Folksong Medley by the Jubiliee Choir wowed the audience as they sing along to the tune of “Bahay Kubo”

Spanish influence depicted through the LITTLE Pipiles Dancers.
